Sydney International Airport is one of the world's leading international airline hubs. It is the gateway to Australia with 43 international airlines flying direct to Sydney, and over 700 interactional direct flights arriving each week.

Sydney Airport is conveniently located 8 km (5 miles) from the city centre. That’s only 13 minutes by train for approximately AUD 20, or 25 minutes by car, taxi or a ride-share for approximately AUD 30-50.

Visas

All visitors to Australia require a valid passport and visa to enter the country. Passport holders from most countries can apply for Australian visas online, and you may be eligible to apply for a free visa.

Australia does not exclude access to any travellers on the basis of nationality or country of origin, and has a world-class visa processing framework, with relatively few travel and visa restrictions for visitors. Standard health and character checks are part of the visa application process.
